The Canada First Research Excellence Fund is administered by the Tri-agency Institutional Programs Secretariat (TIPS).
To avoid duplication of information and possibly conflicting interpretations, TIPS asks eligible institutions to nominate a single point of contact to interact with TIPS. Through these designated contacts, TIPS will keep institutions informed of updated program information. Please check with your institution’s designated contact (usually a senior administrator, such as the vice-president of research) for the latest program updates and answers to frequently asked questions.
